
We all have been PROGRAMMED!!
It is ridiculous to hear such statement, isn’t it? Perhaps, many of you are surprised to hear that we have all been programmed. But it’s true– some of our personality traits are the result of our programming in the past. We’ve been programmed at the subconscious level-to think, believe and act the way we do. Such programming is the result of many influences–including what we have been told by others, what we have told ourselves (self-talks), and all of our life experiences (both good and bad).
Some of us have programming that makes our life easy and happy; while some of us have programming that makes life difficult. If we don’t change our programming that are not helpful then our lives might be limited by the fears, insecurities, and limitations of our past. The various research and practices show that we can reprogram our mind and can overcome all of our fears, insecurities, bad habits and any self-limiting beliefs and behaviors we currently have.
There are various techniques in the world to reprogramming the mind. I am quite familiar with the two: Affirmations and Visualizations. I have implemented these techniques as well and Good News is that they really worked.
We can use Affirmations s to start programming ourselves for the desired change. The affirmation can be both written and verbal forms. Our subconscious mind cannot distinguish between right and wrong. With enough repetition, our subconscious mind will begin to believe what we tell it, act upon it and eventually manifest it in our reality.
Visualization is also known as mental rehearsal. It refers to the practice of longing to generate positive outcome in the external world by using one’s vivid imaginations. Visualization is the process that activates the creative powers of our subconscious mind and creates new neural pathways. Many of the people are limited by the visions of their past, replaying the textures and movies again and again; which are basically associated with failures and negativity. Creative visualization enables us to design the vision about what we want out from our life, what sorts of ideal future we want and so on.
Practice affirmations and visualizations; and feel the difference.
