Lets’ Begin!

Take a pause for a while and introspect.

  • What is it that you really want?
  • Why do you want this wish to be fulfilled?
  • What do you really want from it?

Seriously, please pause for a while and introspect. It might take some time. Never mind. Take your time.

Now, I am going to tell you a very interesting story that I heard about long ago. The story goes like this:

One evening, a lady was searching for something on the street under the street lamp. The few people gathered around her and they showed interest in helping her.

“What are you searching for? They asked the lady.

“I have lost my gold ring,” the lady replied.

They repeatedly searched the ring, but all their attempts went in vain. One of the people said, “Since it is getting late, if you tell us where it has fallen, it will be easier to find it.”

The lady told them, Actually, it has not fallen here. It has fallen inside my house.”

Everyone started laughing. Some guessed that she was out of her mind.

“If the needle has fallen in your house, then why are you searching here on the street? One of them asked.

The lady replied, “There is no light inside my house. I thought of searching here because of the light.”

The other person furiously asked, “Even if there is light, how can we find the ring here if it has not been lost here? It might be a great idea to bring the light inside your house, so that you can easily find the ring.”

This time, the lady laughed. She added, “Thank you. I really appreciate your suggestions. But my concern is, when are you going to apply this common sense to your inner life? You crave validation and love from people, yearn for happiness in external things, and seek peace by changing your surroundings. Does it make sense to search outside all your life when it has been lost within you?”

The lady returned home, leaving the people dumbfounded.

Love, Happiness and Peace have always been present within us, but we seldom notice and experience them.

Lets’ try to experience them.

Keep Shining within.

I am Pradip Parajuli. I have been in helping profession since 13 years. To tell the truth, I am a new Life Coach practitioner. Yet prior to becoming a Life Coach, I spent 5 years working as a Counselor; and before that I used to work as a Social Worker and Program Manager in a reputed International Non-governmental Organization. I am practicing Counseling as well as Life Coaching. From the get-go, I loved life coaching. As I kept going and trained in Counseling, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Life Coaching (Beginner to Advanced), my belief that I had found my niche in life was cemented. That niche is to help people get unstuck and find more purpose and enjoyment in their lives.
I genuinely do understand when clients say they’re looking for a change, but don’t know what it is yet or how to achieve it. Because I have been there, done that and thankfully was lucky enough to walk away to now be doing a job where I never have to think “Thank God it’s Friday (TGIF).”
