Psychological Counselor/Life Coach Practitioner

This morning I had a conversation with a highly scholar person (what I consider him) in a Café. He is very much happy about his life as well as his achievements till date. The only concern of him was time and he is ageing every day.

“If you don’t mind –How old are you?”– I asked.

I am 45 years old.– He replied.

I smiled and told him –Then embrace ageing’.

He promptly and embarrassedly replied –“Embrace Ageing?”

“Yes. As you grow, you learn more through the experience. Lets’ say– if you stayed twenty, you would always be as ignorant as you were twenty. One the other hand, You would have been frustrated seeing everyone of your age is getting aged. It is said that age is just numbers. Ageing is not just effete or decay, you know. It is growth. Death is inevitable. The tragic thing that we know we have to die one day; but we hardly believe it. In the ageing process, our belief system regarding death increases. The more we understand the truth that we are going to die, the more we live a better life.”

After hearing such words- he smiled.

I further added, there are so many things in life that are out of our control. We need to accept that things. Since we can’t control the time and our ageing process. There is no other option than to accept it.

Embrace the ageing and Live a Meaningful Life.

Lets’ Thrive!!!

Pradip Parajuli

I am Pradip Parajuli. I have been in helping profession since 13 years. To tell the truth, I am a new Life Coach practitioner. Yet prior to becoming a Life Coach, I spent 5 years working as a Counselor; and before that I used to work as a Social Worker and Program Manager in a reputed International Non-governmental Organization. I am practicing Counseling as well as Life Coaching. From the get-go, I loved life coaching. As I kept going and trained in Counseling, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Life Coaching (Beginner to Advanced), my belief that I had found my niche in life was cemented. That niche is to help people get unstuck and find more purpose and enjoyment in their lives.
I genuinely do understand when clients say they’re looking for a change, but don’t know what it is yet or how to achieve it. Because I have been there, done that and thankfully was lucky enough to walk away to now be doing a job where I never have to think “Thank God it’s Friday (TGIF).”
